Other Attractions
There are many other things to see in the Orlando area beyond the three major theme parks. The following is just a handful. Please be aware that we do not endorse any of the attractions described below. The information is provided for your convenience only.
"Spring training in the Orlando area includes the Atlanta Braves who play at a beautiful stadium on the Disney World of Sports Complex. The Houston Astros train nearby in the Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee. Many other teams are within a 90 minute drive. Spring training offers affordable entertainment and is a very relaxed atmosphere to watch professional sports. The games are simply exhibitions and the players are much more relaxed and approachable. You also get a chance to see future major league prospects in action. The stadiums are small with the largest holding 10,000 fans. Most stadiums hold 5,000 to 7,000 people. Prices are usually half of what you would pay during the season. Nothing can beat a sunny warm March afternoon in the ballpark watching baseball and thinking about how cold it is back home in Canada. "
